A turntablelist for over 20 years, he has developed a unique classic yet up to date sound that separates him from most of your average djs. After moving to NY in 1990 to pursue a master’s degree, Jon’s professional path took him down the road of clinical social work. He continued to work in that field through the early 90’s but in his spare time he would meet up with 98.7 Kiss FM’s Jay “Mixin” Dixon to work on remixes at the station and to open up for Jay at various club functions. Jon studied the NYC club circuit for several years before branching out on his own. He realized that the competition in NYC was incomparable but he felt by through networking and hard work he could be a success in the Big Apple due to his unique style of mastermixing. He is a now considered a master of many dance genres not often associated with the typical NYC club dj.
